This was a uber stylish, high on design, starry-starry night. Sashaying luxurious
silhouettes, models walked the Gitanjali Luxury Style Fest 09ramp for leading esigners
Wendell Rodricks, Ritu Beri and Rohit Bal at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse before a select audience on Tuesday night .
olive, plum, grey and black and played up the schoolgirl look with high ponies and short hemlines. This was a collection that reflected the ubran chic attitude of the modern Indian metro. His showstopper — actress Sonali Kulkarni, flashed a charming smile and swept across in a flowy black outfit.
Then came the gorgeous Delhi-based designer Ritu Beri with a collection in Mumbai after long. Detailed to the core, there was some pretty signature opulence in Ritu’s collection with 30 distinctive looks. Sensuous models strutted heavily embroidered jackets, shimmery jooda clips, dupattas with frills in lovely colours of pink, plum, sea green and reds. Ritu claimed, “I love Mumbai and that’s why I chose to show my collection in my favourite colours
