Rakhi Sawant’s marriage proceedings start

The wait is finally over. From Monday, June 29th, NDTV Imagine will play host to bride-to-be Rakhi Sawant
and 16 potential grooms on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, the show that India is waiting to watch Fem presents Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, the first of its kind reality show on Indian television will air at 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday only on NDTV Imagine.

The beautiful Fatehgarh Palace and the city of Udaipur is the perfect backdrop to the show. Known for its splendid palaces and timeless tales of love and valour, Udaipur is the host city for Rakhi’s Swayamvar. The Internationa Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has announced the winners of the technical awards categories for the ‘IIFA Awards 2009′. Jodhaa Akbar walked away with 5 awards followed by Ghajini which won 3 out of a total of 14 awards announced yesterday. The winners will be presented their trophies on the night of the ‘IIFA Awards’ that will be held on June 13, 2009 at the Cotai Arena, The Venetian- Macau
