The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacant posts and also to maintain the panel to meet the future requirement time to time for the posts at Sl. No. 2 to 6 below.
* Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 06 posts
* Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 42 posts
* Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 05 posts
* Assistant Engineer (IT /Computer Science) : 03 posts
* Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts) : 05 posts
* Assistant Manager (HR & Administration) : 09 posts
* Assistant Manager (Stores) : 03 posts
* Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication) : 02 posts
* Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 200 posts
* Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 30 posts
Pay Scale :
For Sub-Assistant Engineer pay scale is Rs. 6300 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4400
For Engineers/ Assistant Managerts pay scale is Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Age Limit:
27 years as on 01.07.2009. Age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Reservation:
Reservation of post for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped candidates will be as per govt. rules in force.
Application Fee :
DD of Rs. 400/- (Rs.300/- for Sub Engineer poss) drawn in favor of West Bengal StateElectricity Distribution Company Ltd. payable at Kolkata only. Demand drafts payable at locations other than Kolkata will not be accepted. Money Order / Postal Order or any other mode of payment is not acceptable. No fee from SC/ST candidates.
How to Apply : Apply Online at WBSEDCL Website only between 3rd November 2009 to 18th November 2009. After submitting the details, take the print of the Registration Slip and send it by ordinary posts with fee DD and certificates on or before 23/11/2009 to :
Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 3rd November 2009 to 18th November 2009. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
IMPORTANT DATES
Commencement of online registration of applications by candidates 03.11.2009
Last date for receipt of online applications 18.11.2009
Last date for accepting registration slips with required documents by post 23.11.2009
Intimation to candidates regarding admit cards by email latest by 09.12.2009
Written Test 20.12.2009
